The short version
Pretzel does not require a Lunar Pebble account. Most gameplay data stays on your device. If you choose to use Game Center on iPhone or iPad, Apple processes your Game Center identity and Extreme Solo score. Pretzel has no ads or purchases in the current release.
What this policy covers
This policy covers the Pretzel mobile app for iPhone, iPad, and Android, the Pretzel pages on lunarpebble.com, and email sent to Lunar Pebble for Pretzel support.
Information kept on your device
Depending on the device and feature, Pretzel may save a small amount of game information locally so it can remember how you like to play:
- sound, haptic, motion, and tutorial choices;
- game setup choices, such as pace, variety, and match length;
- personal bests, play counts, and local match preferences.
Pretzel does not send this gameplay information to Lunar Pebble or Supabase in this release. Your device may include local app data in its own backup system, depending on your Apple or Google backup settings.
Optional Game Center rankings
On iPhone and iPad, Pretzel can use Apple Game Center for Extreme Solo rankings. If you are signed in to Game Center and use that feature, Apple provides Pretzel with your Game Center authentication status and display name, and Pretzel may submit your Extreme Solo score to Apple. Pretzel may also request leaderboard information so you can view rankings.
Apple controls Game Center accounts and processes this information under its own privacy terms and your device settings. Lunar Pebble does not receive your Apple Account password. You can sign out of Game Center or change its permissions in your Apple device settings. The Android release does not include Google Play Games integration.
Information the app does not ask for
The current release of Pretzel does not ask for or collect through the app:
- your name, email address, phone number, birthday, or account login;
- precise location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone access;
- advertising identifiers or personalized advertising choices;
- online match history, social messages, or cloud game accounts operated by Lunar Pebble.
Network services and software providers
The app package may contain integration code for RevenueCat and Google Mobile Ads, including Google’s consent software. The production configuration needed to offer purchases or request ads is not enabled in the current public release. Pretzel therefore does not show ads or offer a purchase in this release.
Pretzel also has no active mobile connection to the project’s Supabase backend in this release. Scores shown in the app are local, not verified global results.
Apple or Google may process information when you download the app, use their store, use Game Center, or choose to share device diagnostics. That activity is controlled by your device and platform settings and is covered by Apple’s or Google’s privacy terms. Lunar Pebble may receive a crash report if you choose to share diagnostics with developers.
When you visit the Pretzel website
Cloudflare hosts and protects lunarpebble.com. Like most web hosts, it may process connection details needed to deliver and secure a page, such as an IP address, browser information, requested page, and request time. Lunar Pebble may view aggregate website measurements. Pretzel’s public pages do not include an account login, advertising form, or support form.
When you email support
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it to answer your question, investigate a problem, keep the service safe, and maintain an appropriate support record. Please do not send passwords, payment details, health information, or other sensitive information.
Children’s privacy
Pretzel can be played by children, but the app does not ask a player to create a Lunar Pebble account or provide personal information. Game Center availability and parental controls are managed by Apple. If a child emails personal information to support, a parent or guardian may contact us to ask that it be deleted.
Keeping and deleting information
Local app data
Local game data stays on the device until it is reset or the app’s data is removed. Use Pretzel’s reset control where it is available, or remove app data through your device settings. Removing the app may remove its local data, subject to device backups.
Support email
We keep support email only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, prevent repeat problems, meet legal obligations, and protect Lunar Pebble and its users. You may ask us to delete it, subject to any record we must retain by law.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards for the information we control. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure, so the simplest protection in this release is collecting very little and keeping gameplay data on the device.
If Pretzel changes
We will update this policy before enabling a feature that materially changes how Pretzel handles information, such as ads, purchases, Lunar Pebble accounts, new analytics, or additional online services. The effective date at the top will show when the policy changed.
